On of the beautiful features of Nice is the Promenade.  If you like walking then it is ideal.  There is so much to see along the way and plenty of benches and viewing points to take advantage of all that is going on around you.  Stop in at one of the many wonderful coffee shops to take the weight off.  The apartment sits right beside the Promenade and there is a safe pedestrian crossway very close by.
